Hard Facing Electrode :
A medium heavy coated rutile type good running hard facing electrode, deposit a tough air hardening type of weld metal of approximately 350 to 600 BHN hardness. The weld metal is machinable and recommended for application involving maximum hardness as required. Typical applications suitable for shear blades brake shoes, coupling, conveyor parts, roller tractor wheels, steel casting, shafts, axles.
 
ROYAL - C III (LH)
 
Description :
This is a medium heavy coated low hydrogen, air hardening type iron powder electrode. The weld deposit is extremely hard, sound and non-machinable. The low hydrogen enables the electrode to be used on high carbon and high sulphur steel without inducing under bead cracking or porosity. The electrode is recommended for hardfacing where severe conditions of abrasion and friction accompanied by moderate impact exist the weld deposit is finished by grinding.
