Stainless Steel Electrode
Steel welding electrodes, stainless steel welding electrodes, is capable of depositing S. S. type of weld metal with normal content of carbon. The weld metal has excellent creep strength and is if radiographic quality, these steel welding electrodes, stainless steel welding electrodes can be manipulated in all welding positions. Typical applications in welding of stainless steels, tank coil, vats used in the pulp, paper and textile industry, chemical mixers, paints and dye industries.

Classification : AWS:SFA5.4, E308H-16 IS:5206E 19.9 R26 Description : It is a rutile coated stainless steel electrode, stainless steel welding electrodes which deposits high carbons i.e. 0.04 to 0.080. 19 Cr, and 10 Ni type of weld metal which gives high tensile and creep strength at elevated temperature. This electrode are used for welding AISI 304H type of base material. It is running with smooth arc with excellent weld bead finish and self lifting slag. Typical Applications : For welding stainless steels of AISI 308H, 304H, type of base material fabrication works. Used for joining 18/8 stainless steel when the carbon is in the range of 0.04-0.08%. |
